The themes of the track change from year to year, but meet modern global challenges. In 2021, the main theme of the International Track of the Award was the contribution to the fight against the spread of COVID-19. The track of the 2022 version is dedicated to the theme "Social change through volunteering".
Within the framework of the International Track, applications will be accepted in 2 directions: "Legal entities" (non-profit, public and business organizations) and "Individuals" (volunteers and unregistered associations of initiative citizens).
"Very soon we will sum up the results of the bid campaign of the Russian track of the #МЫВМЕСТЕ Award, so it's time to launch an international track at the Eurasia Global. As part of this direction, we note the merits of foreign citizens and organizations that have contributed to the solution of important social and humanitarian issues. This year the international track will be dedicated to the topic of social change through volunteering, we have discussed this topic, similar versions of the topic have been proposed by many. Last year, representatives of 59 countries took part in the track, 12 winners were selected from China, Liberia, India, Belarus, Portugal, Moldova, Thailand, Turkey, Israel, Kazakhstan, Brazil and Azerbaijan," said Andrey Platonov, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh).
This year's winners will also be selected from 6 regions of the world: CIS, Europe, Asia-Pacific region, Middle East and North Africa, North and South America, Sub-Saharan Africa. The award can be received in 3 nominations: "Ecology and sustainable development" – initiatives in the field of environmental protection, environmental education, environmental consumption, "green" economy and technology; "Medicine and healthy lifestyle" – initiatives in the field of mental and physical health, donation, health development, promotion of physical education and sports, as well as the values of a healthy lifestyle; "Equal Opportunities and Social Justice" are initiatives aimed at improving the well–being of vulnerable categories of citizens, providing social assistance to people, revealing talents and educating individuals, developing education and volunteering. Up to 3 winners will be selected in each nomination. Separately, from among the individual winners, a winner is to be selected in the special nomination "Good Deed of the Year" for special achievements in the field of promoting social change through volunteering.
The winners of the Award will receive financial remuneration, the opportunity to become part of the International Forum of Civic Participation #МЫВМЕСТЕ, will be able to promote their initiatives at the global level and receive expert support throughout the year.
"Participation in the Award was my motivation, an opportunity to say that there are a lot of volunteers, and we are everywhere. It is this Award that supports us, allows us to be on the same platform with like-minded people and help people free of charge. There are no obstacles for those who do good!" – the winner of the last year's Prize from Kazakhstan, Danara Saranova, addressed.
Applications will be accepted until August 15, 2022. The selection of the winners will take place in several steps: technical verification for compliance with formal criteria, evaluation by regional experts in order to identify best practices and initiatives at the level of the world region, approval by the Award directorate, which evaluates the shortlist according to the importance of the contribution within the nominations.
The award ceremony will be held within the framework of the International Forum of Civic Participation #МЫВМЕСТЕ, which will be held in Russia from December 2 to 5.
It should be noted that the International Award #МЫВМЕСТЕ was launched on the initiative of the volunteer community in 2020 in Russia.
